When Old Books Pop Up!

Hello everyone!

Today I wanted to share the work of an artist I just discovered recently, Thomas Allen.  For all the book lovers out there, please check out his beautiful art work inspired by mid-century books and pulp fiction.  Allen creates vivid three-dimensional illustrations by using figures cut and folded from old books and placing them in a new display of meaningful interactions.

Allen is represented by the Foley Gallery in New York, the G. Gibson Gallery in Seattle, and the 1000 eventi Gallery in Milan.
